Thank you for visiting our website. Lacey’s Petit Academy is a privately owned and family operated childcare center in Maplewood and South Orange, New Jersey since 2005. I was a working mom and I valued the excellent quality childcare that my children received. When I decided to open a childcare center I wanted to give back to the families an exceptional experience of high quality childcare at an affordable price.
At Lacey’s Petit Academy we believe that the children are our future and we feel that by creating a stimulating environment where the children can learn, play and grow will ensure their success. Our number one goal is to create an environment where your child can feel safe and well nurtured.
In addition, we believe that partnering with our parents is important for the healthy growth and development of your child.

THE PRE-K PROGRAM MAPLEWOOD
Provided by Maplewood and South Orange School District, our Pre-K program was designed to have the children fully prepared to enter Kindergarten.
ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
At Lacey’s Petit Academy we’ve added enrichment activities to give your child a rich experience for learning and fun.
THE TODDLER PROGRAM
Our toddlers are learning through play with ample time for social emotional development and exploration.
THE PRE-K PROGRAM SOUTH ORANGE
Our South Orange Pre-K program was designed to have the children fully prepared to enter Kindergarten by focusing on all areas of development.
SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM
The goal of our summer program is simple our plan is to ensure that the children have fun in a safe and nurturing environment!
